Texas BioDiesel Corporation is an independent, private corporation with its headquarters in Houston, Texas. Texas BioDiesel has been awarded the exclusive right to commercialize first-of-its-kind biodiesel production technology being developed by Enviroquest Research Corporation and the United States Department of Energy Idaho National Laboratory.
Texas BioDiesel, together with strategic partner Lurgi PSI, will operate state-of-the-art, biodiesel and glycerin production plants that produce ASTM and DIN standard biodiesel from low cost and abundant biomass materials. This will allow biodiesel to be produced at a price equal to or cheaper than petroleum diesel, a first in the North American market.
