Lucia Petkovic, Ph.D.

Dr. Petkovic’s research work has been focused on heterogeneous catalysis in gas, liquid, and supercritical fluid environments. She has synthesized and characterized catalysts via a multiplicity of physical, chemical, and spectroscopic methods. Currently, she performs research on conversion of methane, biodiesel production, and decomposition of sulfuric acid for thermochemical water splitting cycles as Principal Scientist at the U. S. DOE INL. Previous to this position, she worked at Washington State University, National University of San Juan-Argentina, and University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has published 16 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented 20 at scientific meetings.
